About Us

Youth unemployment and disengagement at 16 remains one of the major issues facing the UK today with one in five 16-24 year olds currently unemployed, a staggering 20.3% of the UK unemployment rate; we are perilously close to creating a 'lost generation'.

Founded in 2008 by Asha Khemka OBE, the Inspire and Achieve Foundation is a charitable trust with one clear aim: to raise the aspirations and achievements of disadvantaged young people - making a real difference to their lives.

Who are we

Through a number of initiatives, the Foundation seeks to:

  • Raise aspirations;
  • Improve the prospects of young people;
  • Develop strategies to engage young people in education and employment;
  • Alleviate unemployment.
